Vietnam War

This plaque is on the Shea-Magrath Memorial and Wall of Remembrance at Calf Pasture Beach on the side of the memorial that faces the water. The plaque underneath the main plaque, which lists just two names, was added in 2021. Their names were missing from the original plaque because they were both Missing In Action at the time the original plaque was cast in 1971. The City of Norwalk held out hope they would be found alive as Prisoners Of War, but that wasn’t the case. We honor their service and sacrifice.
