PRIVATE WALTER KENNETH HALL; U.S. ARMY

May 17, 1896 (Norwalk, CT) – January 9, 1918; 21 years old

Unit: 11th Quartermaster Corps, Motor Transport Company

Born to Walter Hall (1862-1906) and Anna Hall (1868-1967). One sister, Alice (1893-1974). Three brothers, Albert (1895-1966), Ray (1898-1958), and John (1902-1983).



He contracted dysentery and died in a hospital in Jersey City, NJ.


Was on the manifest for an outgoing ship departure on January 8, 1918, but was scratched from the list. The note says “in hospital” in Hoboken, New Jersey.
