Walter Peet, 21, of 35 Nolan Street, with the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, now under the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, died at Norwalk Hospital last night after a lengthy illness. A well-known athlete in Norwalk, the deceased took a prominent part in football activities with Norwalk High School, The Laurels, and the Spring Hill Tigers. Besides his wife Lillian, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Peet, and his brother Harry Peet Jr. Funeral services will be held at the home at 35 Nolan Street on Friday at 8:30 a.m. and at St. Mary’s Church at 9 o’clock. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
