April 13, 1759 (Blooming Grove, NY) – October 3, 1841 (Norwalk, CT); 82 years old
Married to Eunice Hayden (1756-1799) in 1777 in Braintree, Massachusetts
Child: Esther (1790-1884)

Served in the Revolutionary War starting at age 16. Served 1776-1782.
Served in Captain Steven Hall’s Company February 1777 – December 1778.
Later Was in Captain Jabez Fitch’s independent volunteers from September 1782 – November 1782.
Was in the battles of Germantown, Wyoming, and Mud Fort.
Served again under Captain Ozias Marvin at the time of the burning of Norwalk in 1779.


Burial place is unknown
