Unit #1: 3rd Regiment, Connecticut Volunteers, Company I (3 months in 1861)
Unit #2: 5th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteers, Company G

Born to Hiram D. (1802-1863) and Mary Morehouse Hale (1808-1850). Siblings are Mary Ann (1827-?), Eunice (1828-?), William (1830-1906), Hiram (1832-1865), Anson S. (1834-?), Julia (1836-1903), David B. (1837-1875), Sherman (1838-1904), George (1840-1920), Matthew (1841-1901), Nathan (1845-1907), Lewis R. (1848-1882), Jenette (1850-1893), and Marietta (1850-1851).


Wounded July 20, 1864 at Peach Tree Creek, Georgia. Died from those wounds on July 22, 1864.


Unknown burial location.
