FAMILY: Born to Adorinam (?-1867) and Lucy E. Hodge Nobles (?-1889). Siblings were Jennett B. Nobles Bishop (1838-1919), William W. (1837-?), Emma (1845-1876), John (1847-1929), Leroy M. (1849-), Henry (1853-?), and Lucy (1858-1866).

CIRCUMSTANCES: Officially listed as “missing in action July 2, 1863, at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; supposed killed.”
