January 16, 1749 (Norwalk, CT) – May 31, 1828 (Norwalk, CT); 79 years old
Married to Sarah Benedict Bouton (1752-1844).

Sons Isaac (1769-1770), Isaac II (1771-1854), Benjamin R. (1772-1828), William (1774-1845), Seth (1785-1818), Joseph (1887-1874), John (1792-1856), and Nathaniel (1799-1878).

Daughters Betty (1776-1835), Esther (1779-1843), Sarah (1781-1871), Clara (1783-1818), Susannah (1789-1852), Mary (1793-1886), and Anna (1796-1887).


Born to Joseph (1726-1778) and Susannah Raymond Bouton (1732-1772). Sisters Susanna (1750-1820), Elizabeth “Betty” (1753-1841), Rebeckah (1757-1839), Nancy (1767-?) and Debbie (1769-?). Brothers Joseph (1755-1832), Joshua (1759-1812), Seth (1762-1840), Ira (1765-1826), and Aaron (1772-?).


Sergeant under Capt Seth Seymour, Col John Mead’s CT Militia Regiment: enlisted 12 Aug 1776, 1778, 1779, and each subsequent Spring through 1782. Served under Captain Elephelet Lockwood March 16, 1780 – January 1, 1781.
